Mr. Miralles is Founding President of AlareTech in addition to serving as General Manager, project manager, aerodynamicist and test pilot. He has over 38 years professional experience in the aerospace industry having worked at Northrop Corporation, North American Aircraft, and AeroVironment in addition to consulting in the general aviation industry. His professional career has focused mainly on innovative concept development, rapid prototyping and test of small unmanned aerial systems (SUAS), and renewable energy systems. Specialties include; conceptual systems development, aerodynamic design, performance estimation, flight test planning, flight operations, and user training. He has demonstrated both technical and program management leadership skills having taken the Switchblade lethal UAS from initial concept to PDR, CDR, Safety Review Board approvals, DVT, ATEC safety confirmation, PVT, IOC training and transition fielding. In 1981, he graduated from California Polytechnic University at San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He is a licensed private pilot (FAA Part 61) and has extensive SUAS flight experience (FAA Part 107 licensed). He is named inventor on 11 US and World patents.
